There is no shame in feeling like you cannot go on. But, you are not alone. There are millions of people suffering debilitating diseases the world over. Reach out. Do not let yourself become isolated. There are people who understand and want to help you cope. There are resources.

At times, you are entitled to vent your anger, frustration, despair, and grief in dealing with an incurable illness. The medications you are on can exacerbate these emotions. In addition, you may not be receiving the correct medications or the right doses to help you cope. You may have missed doses or accidentally taken two doses. Always call your doctor and/or go to an emergency room for evaluation if you feel a high degree of panic, hallucinations, extreme pain, or you feel like you are crawling out of your skin.

As long as there is life, there is hope. Never give up hope. If you feel you have reached the end of your coping ability, please pick up the phone and call. Your life is precious.
